Rosewood is any of several richly hued hardwoods, often brownish with darker veining, but found in other colors. It is hard, tough, strong, and dense. True rosewoods come from trees of the genus Dalbergia, but other woods are often called rosewood. Rosewood takes a high polish and is used for luxury furniture-making, flooring, musical instruments, and turnery.

These pipes also have a swivel-covered bowl lid to keep your material secure. The Rosewood is made from hardwood and stained with a rosewood color as rosewood is now protected worldwide. Sadly, all 300 species of the rosewood tree are under trade restrictions as this hardwood is on the endangered list.
